Our Pricing Model

PickCreator operates on a simple, transparent pricing model designed to facilitate fair collaborations between brands and influencers. We serve as an intermediary that ensures security and trust in the transaction process.

How It Works

  1. Brand proposes a collaboration with an influencer and sets a budget
  2. Once agreed, the brand deposits the payment with PickCreator
  3. PickCreator holds the funds in escrow during the collaboration
  4. Influencer creates and delivers the content as specified
  5. Brand reviews and approves the content
  6. Funds are released to the influencer minus our service fee

This model protects both parties: brands only pay for satisfactory content, and influencers are guaranteed payment for their work when delivered according to specifications.

Fee Structure

PickCreator charges a flat 4% fee to both brands and influencers on each transaction. This fee covers our service costs including payment processing, platform maintenance, and customer support.

For Brands

  • 4% of the collaboration budget
  • Added to your total payment at checkout
  • Includes escrow service and payment protection

For Influencers

  • 4% of the received payment
  • Deducted when payment is released to you
  • Includes guaranteed payment and dispute resolution

Example Calculation

For a $500 collaboration:
• Brand pays: $500 + $20 (4% fee) = $520 total
• Influencer receives: $500 - $20 (4% fee) = $480 total
• PickCreator fee: $40 ($20 from each party)

Payment Process

Our payment process is designed to be secure, transparent, and fair for all parties involved.

1. Initial Deposit

When a brand and influencer agree on a collaboration, the brand makes a payment to PickCreator. This amount includes the agreed collaboration fee plus our 4% service fee. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.

2. Escrow Period

PickCreator holds the payment in escrow during the content creation period. This protects the brand's investment while ensuring the influencer that funds are secured.

3. Content Delivery & Approval

After the influencer creates and delivers the content, the brand has 48 hours to review and approve it. If no action is taken within this timeframe, the content is automatically approved.

4. Payment Release

Once content is approved, PickCreator releases the payment to the influencer minus our 4% service fee. Payments are typically processed within 1-3 business days to the influencer's linked bank account or PayPal.

Security Measures

All transactions are processed securely using industry-standard encryption. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers and comply with all relevant payment security standards.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both brands and influencers, ensuring that quality work is compensated while protecting brands from inadequate content delivery.

For Brands

Brands may be eligible for refunds in specific situations:

  • Non-delivery: If the influencer fails to deliver the agreed content within the specified timeframe.
  • Significant quality issues: If the delivered content substantially deviates from the agreed specifications in terms of quality, messaging, or presentation.
  • Platform policy violations: If the content violates platform guidelines or contains prohibited content that was not part of the original agreement.

For Influencers

Influencers are protected in the following scenarios:

  • Subjective dissatisfaction: Brands cannot request refunds based solely on subjective dissatisfaction if the content meets the agreed specifications.
  • Changing requirements: If brands attempt to change requirements after content delivery without prior agreement.
  • Reasonable revisions: Influencers are entitled to a reasonable opportunity to make revisions before refunds are considered.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Minor aesthetic preferences that don't significantly impact the content's effectiveness
  • Content that meets all agreed specifications but doesn't perform as expected
  • After the brand has already approved the content
  • Brand's failure to provide necessary materials or information to the influencer on time

Important Note

All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of content delivery through the platform's dispute resolution system. Requests submitted outside this timeframe or through other channels may not be considered.

Dispute Resolution

In case of disagreements between brands and influencers, PickCreator offers a structured dispute resolution process to ensure fair outcomes.

1. Direct Resolution

We encourage brands and influencers to resolve issues directly through our messaging system. Many disputes can be resolved with clear communication and minor revisions.

2. Formal Dispute Filing

If direct resolution isn't possible, either party can file a formal dispute through the platform. This freezes the payment until the dispute is resolved. Both parties will be asked to provide evidence supporting their position.

3. Review Process

Our dispute resolution team will review all submitted evidence, including the original collaboration agreement, delivered content, and communication history. This review typically takes 48 hours.

4. Decision and Action

After review, we will make one of the following decisions:

  • Full payment release: The influencer receives full payment if all terms were met
  • Partial refund: Brand receives partial refund if some but not all specifications were met
  • Full refund: Brand receives full refund if influencer failed to deliver as agreed
  • Revision request: Opportunity for the influencer to revise the content

PickCreator commits to fair, impartial dispute resolution. Our goal is to ensure that quality work is properly compensated while protecting brands from substandard deliverables. All decisions are made based on evidence and the terms of the original agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the 4% fee charged?

For brands, the fee is added to your total payment at checkout. For influencers, the fee is deducted when the payment is released to you after content approval.

Can I get a refund if I'm not satisfied with the content's performance?

No. Refunds are not provided based on content performance (likes, shares, etc.) if the content meets all agreed specifications. Performance metrics are influenced by many factors beyond the influencer's control.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. For influencers, payments can be received via direct bank transfer or PayPal.

How quickly are disputes resolved?

Most disputes are resolved within 48 hours of submission. Complex cases may take up to 5 business days.

Can the fee be negotiated for larger collaborations?

For enterprise clients with high-volume collaboration needs, custom fee structures may be available. Please contact our sales team for more information.

What if an influencer never delivers the content?

If an influencer fails to deliver the agreed content by the deadline and does not communicate valid reasons for delay, brands are eligible for a full refund including the service fee.
